Co-Founded QuantePhi in 2012. In prior life, had an illustrious global career across diverse industries, with stints in General Motors Corporation (automotive, US), BlackRock (finance, US), CIMB Investment Bank (finance, Malaysia), AirAsia Berhad (airlines, Malaysia) and Malaysia Airlines Berhad (airlines, Malaysia).
Aziz holds an Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, and graduated with Masters of Science in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from Kettering University (a.k.a. General Motor Institute).
Aziz is a licensed individual (CMSRL holder) since 2014 from the Securities Commission of Malaysia.
RIFQY NASIS, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Joined Quantephi in August 2017 after extensive experiences in corporate, investment banking and audit with Business Ventures Division of Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad (2016 – 2017), Investment Banking/Corporate Client Solutions of CIMB Investment Bank (2006 – 2016), Deal Advisory (Transaction Services) of KPMG Corporate Services (2005 – 2006) and Assurance and Business Advisory (Audit) of Ernst & Young (2001 – 2005).
Rifqy’s expertise includes mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offering (IPO), equity/debt fundraising and financial restructuring. Some of major deals that Rifqy involved prior to QuantePhi include financing for Battersea Project in United Kingdom, Sukuk issuance by TNB Western Energy Berhad for Project 3A Power Plant, IPO of MSM Malaysia Holdings Berhad and Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad and M&A of Synergy Drive (i.e. merger of Sime Darby, Golden Hope and Guthrie Group).
Rifqy is a Fellowship of Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and earned his Bachelor in Accounting (Hons) from the University of Tenaga Nasional. He is a licensed individual (CMSRL holder) since 2018 from the Securities Commission of Malaysia.
